About the Clinic
Forerunners welcomes you to join the crew on an annual basis and become part of something more as you will learn about the sport and make lasting memories.
Run Clinic Groups:
- TEN-KM GROUP – 5km to 10km races – 60min to 80min 10km runners
- HALF MARATHON – 5km to half marathon races – 1:25 to 2:10 pace groups
- FULL MARATHON – 5km to marathon races – 3:15 to 4:15 pace groups
Three Key Runs – Workout Days:
MONDAY 5:45 am/6:15am – Tempo workouts at half marathon to marathon pace – 10km to 12km total workout
WEDNESDAY 7am or 6:30pm – Speed workouts; intervals at 10km pace – 8km total
SATURDAY 8am – Easy pace runs:
- TEN-KM GROUP – 5km to 11km
- HALF MARATHONERS – 11km to 19km
- MARATHONERS – 15KM to 36km
Annual Membership for Three Clinic Semesters:
A. SUMMER/FALL – July to October
Eastside 10km – September
Victoria 8km, Half & Full Marathon – October
Great Trek 5km, 10km & Half Marathon – October
B. FALL/WINTER – November to February
Ice Breaker 8km – Jan

What Can I Do To Prepare?
All runners should be capable of running a 10km run without stopping.

Meet the Instructor
Current head coach of Forerunners Main Street running clinics. Enjoys helping runners of all levels reach their goal whether first marathon or achieving a personal best. Coach of more than 1000 runners for half and full marathons through Forerunners running clinics. Coach of more than 100 Boston Marathon qualifiers through Forerunners running clinics. A 2:12 Marathoner and competitor in the 1996 Olympic Marathon. Best time in the half marathon 1:03 and 10,000m 28:04.
