Free Running Seminar October 24th
Published on October 13, 2016It’s that time of year again!
As part of their presentation of the First 1/2 Half Marathon, the Pacific Road Runners are holding their annual free running seminar on Monday October 24th at the Roundhouse Community Centre in Yaletown.
This year’s speakers include:
- Chris Winter, local athlete and Rio 2016 Olympian in the Steeplechase, discussing his journey to achieve his goal of competing in the Olympic Games.
- Michelle Gentis of Team Joshua. Michelle is an inspiration and the first mother/son duo wheelchair team to post a Boston Qualifier (BQ). Michelle and son, Joshua are beneficiaries of Variety Charity and will be talking about their journey and running for quality of life.
- Lewis Morrison, from The Peak Centre for Human Performance, discussing Heart Rate & Lactate Based Zone Training.
This is your opportunity to learn something from one of their great presenters. They will have draw prizes including 10 GUARANTEED entries (but not free entries) to the First 1/2 Half Marathon on February 5, 2017. This is Vancouver’s most scenic race featuring the famous Stanley Park Seawall.
And the best part of the event–it’s FREE!
See you there.
